About On Broadway
On Broadway Event Center was built in 1952 as Suburban Ford Automotive Dealership by Hull Dobbs out of Memphis, TN. A tradition concrete block building with a flat build roof and steel supports for the bow trust street framers. The Showroom was designed to showcase new models with floor to ceiling glass and marble finished floors. Hull Dobbs sold the building in 1969 to Claude Hall and his sons Gary & Steve Hall, The Halls named the dealership Arlington Auto Sales featuring Fait, SIMCA, & Sunbeam new car sales until the building was purchased with property in 2019. The Historic Building has kept its original design and character of the early 1950’s.
